Heh, I took our new student out for lunch that day, his first day of work with us!

On another note - Holy Aston Martins! This past weekend, I think I saw four or five in total. All but one were V8 Vantages, one even on a used car lot(!) in the west end on 178th Street. The other Aston I saw was an older DB7 Volante.

I saw... something... on Sunday driving west on Baseline Rd at 17th street. Not sure what it was, but it was definitely race prepped (or wannabe race prepped). Tried to get a pic, but traffic made it near impossible. The best one I got was of its tail end only. Any ideas?

It was really odd. Front end looked kind of like a Maserati MC12 or maybe a Saleen S7, cabin was T-topped, and with the exception of the windshield looked like a NSX, and the rear end you can see. Was surprisingly quiet, but I was in the Civic and had the windows rolled up....

I was tempted to get the wife to help me pull the hardtop off so I could do a quick run with the top down. But...I resisted. Figured I'd probably get splashed while going by a melt puddle or something.

Will probably sell the hardtop this spring/summer as I will buy a beater for the next winter so I won't really need the hardtop any more. Looks great but I'd rather put the money towards another car.
