Default Ordered Rick's 4.56 gears

Although I always loosely ponder the sale of my S2000, in hindsight it is nearly paid for and I enjoy it very much. In saying that, I decided to order a new 4.56 final drive from Rick's for my S2000. I have been intrigued by all the positive feedback owners have come forth with regarding this mod. I am also going to install the Supersprint exhaust I have long coveted. Just wanted to share.

Where is the car going for the install of the gears?

And I want to hear the car when you get that exhaust on there!

As am I Brady!

Good luck with the install. As for the Supersprint; it is by far the best exhaust on the market. They always impressed me with their VW/Audi product line.

Happy Motoring

I will have either Steve Allen or Darryn Sieben at Honda West do the install, both very accomplished Techs.

Brady, are you getting the SS exhaust with or without the centre resonator?

I will most likely get the resonator, how have you found the Supersprint without it ? Ready to sell ?

There is droning without the resonator (can be bad with the top up) when you are around 3300 rpm, but it sounds absolutely fantastic when the car is wound up. I did purchase the resonator after a few months and I was disappointed with the lack of sound...it was just too quiet...kind of like stock...I took it off after a week and I am now back to the original set up. Perhaps the resonator option would sound better once everything started to get packed in the canister(s)....good luck...let us know how you feel about it.

I'm in the market for a new exhaust for the C2S...maybe a Christmas present to myself...any suggestions?
