Default passport help

Hi everyone, just seeing if i could get some help here instead of waiting forever on the phone during work to get an answer from the help line

so me and my wife just got married in june last year... we just got out passports right before we got married...
so now her passport last name is under her old last name... the passport and land titles is the only thing under her old name

could we use her old passport still with her old last name?
or do i have to wait in line and get it changed.. i heard it is now 60 business days now

help is appreciated!

If you are travelling anytime soon, I would have your wife take your marriage certificate in addition to the passport. Birth certificate too, perhaps, but basically what you'd want to show her maiden name and then the change to the married name.
