Default Pics of the new Viper coupe

Even though you're lead by an Xviper, I think this was pretty cool

Thanks for the link, Simon. I'm undecided about the way that thing looks. I'm still more inclined toward the convertible. There is a new one at the dealer in Cochrane (small town to the west of Calgary). They want $120K for it. I'm afraid I'm no longer going to ever own a car I can't drive in the winter. They do have one of the new turbo Crossfires though. I may go take a look at them in the next day or two. My chiropractor is a friend of the dealer principle and thinks they'd let the turbo go for about $48K. I doubt it will have the same quality as my S. My wife's 2 year old PT is a great car but it's already starting to leak oil from places I can't even get to.

I came back from Cochrane Dodge. They had two Crossfires in the lot. They are deceptively short and small. I parked beside one and it looks a bit shorter than the S2000. The looks can't compare. That rear end is TRULY GOOFY looking.

I also looked a the Red Viper inside. If only you could drive the damn thing all winter here, I'd take another serious look at one. I'll never have another 6 month car again.

I'd love to. I've got 5.5 years before I retire. Maybe then. Wanna go salmon fishing with an old geezer?

I got caught in the snow with those steam roller rears on my old Viper. I managed to get home, but it took me nearly 20 minutes to get up my driveway.
Remember those "dualee wheels"? The ones that were two skinny wheels welded together? Some company was marketting them for a couple of years for performance cars. I looked into getting a set for the Viper to make it a "year rounder". They don't make 17" snow tires in about a 150 width and with a high enough profile to make them work on tandem wheels.
With the new Viper, nobody makes a 335 X 19" snow tire. A 275 X 17" snow tire exists but imagine how stupid those would look.
You can get the new EMT M&S tires from Goodyear in the new C6 Vette sizes. I'd love to look into that possibility but at $75,000.00, my change purse just clamped down tighter than a straight man's butt in prison.
