I wanted to throw up a thread to plan some meets for the group over winter.

The two ideas I had in mind:

1) Calgary Flames hockey. We could either buy a pack of tickets and go to a game (preferably against a big rival like Edmonton or Vancouver), or watch at a pub.

2) dinner meets. we can go watch the eye candy at joey tomatoes

3) car show. not sure when the auto show is this year (probably around feb/march?), but this is probably worth going to as well.

Any thoughts? Other ideas?

 

I'm game for eats at Joey T's. The car show sounds like a good idea, too. Not a hockey fan, though.

You willing to come down here for these?

 

Yep, with two vehicles to share the mileage I don't mind coming down

 

We can try for one a month and see how it goes.
