Default Preliminary call for interest in a late summer drive to Vancouver.

I'm planning my usual annual driving trip out to the west coast in the second half of August. I hope to meet up with a few of our brethren out that way. I would continue my journey afterwards to the Island before coming home. This would most likely be mid-week to avoid the weekend rush with traffic and motels.
Would anyone else be interested in tagging along?

I'd potentially be interested actually. My best friend and I were going to plan a trip to Van anyway, so if we can figure something out to go out there in a bit of a convoy, I'm all for it!

if it was two weeks later I would have joined but can't take my vacation week till early Sept.

A S2000 train to Van would be a good one.

It may be a go with me Dave. A more precise date would help, along with a duration estimate. There's some awesome roads along the way,!

But I'd like to actually SEE something besides a constant blur.
