Default Putting on the summers?

Who here is considering putting on their summer rubbers today?
If I didn't have a new suspension in store shortly, I'd put my summers on now. It is too nice out there.

I was going to do it today as a matter of fact. However, by the time I did the oil change on the PT, siliconed all the rubber CV boots and ball joints, and took her snow tires off and washed it, it was too late in the day. If it doesn't surprise us and snow in the next couple of days, my summers are going back on. Next week, the top may even come off and get hung up.

I'm gonna wait until after I take it up to Gary for a valve adjustment. So hopefully in a couple of weeks.

Dave, what sort of silicone product do you use for the cv boots? I should probably do them this year since I've neglected them from day one.

I just use the Silicone spray. It'll say it's OK for rubber. Today, I bought another can from Crappy Tire (their own brand).

Works for me. Should be a fun day of the neighbours looking at me weird as I jack up my car in the driveway and proceed to lube up my rubbers

I wonder just how many tubes of economy sized KY it would take to do all the rubbers on the car?
