I'm afraid that "good wear" and "good traction" do not go hand in hand with this car. However, if economy is a key point, then simply go to a couple of tire shops and check out what they have that suits your budget. I suggest Blaskin and Lane and TireCraft as these two sell different brands of tires. Have a look at Yokohamas, Goodrich or Kuhmos (sp?), or Fountain Tire for one of their cheaper brands of Goodyears.
Talk to Duane at Tirecraft in Crowfoot. They are right next to Denny's. Tell him Dave, the guy with the S2000 and PT Cruiser sent you. Or talk to Frank at B & L in Forest Lawn and tell him Dave, the fireman sent you.
Remember, on all non-OEM SO2's, you need 245's in the rear.

Ugh! my 235's are too narrow then! Good thing my tread is wearing out fast.....hehehe. ....But still, I guess I'll have to go for the 245's next time Wish i knew this earlier

Anyways, thanks for the Info xviper ....i'll be sure to pick up the right size next time!

Any tires out there that u reccomend? Seeing as how they dont make the S0-2 PP's anymore. I heard the S0-3's arent as good as the S0-2 PP's (which arent as good as the OEM).....

Kumho 712 Ectas....best bang for the buck on the street.

Good wear, great in the rain and super stiff sidewalls.

If you don't care about rain performance, then get the Falken Azenis (I'm not sure if they make the proper size for S2K's). Keep in mind these things suck in the rain.

Stock S-02's are still one of the best options for performance.

Those Kumho's are the best option for better tire wear, but your performance will suffer greatly.
