She was a good'un wasn't she? Were you there? We were the second unit out (before you guys actually
) and helped with evacuation and what not. I counted 3 houses which I deemed "totalled" and at least a dozen more that will need significant repairs.
It truly is disheartening to see all that $$, just disappear within minutes. I don't think it took more than 15 minutes for the two worst hit homes to burn right down to the basement.
I took a few blurry pics with my cell phone...I'll see about posting them here.

I agree. With an economy as hot as ours (no pun intended), many of these would-be new home owners have been waiting months for their new homes to be completed. It was quite upsetting actually to see these new homes come to nothing within a matter of moments.
