1800.00 U.S. They are brand new and only 1 set have ever been made by StopTech, originally made for the movie Fast and Furious. The kit includes 14" Slotted Rotors, Axxis Pads and Stainless Brake lines. The hats on the brakes were originally designed to fit the Roja GTM 18" wheel but can be modified or new ones ordered to fit most 18" wheels

I emailed mark@tunerworks.com about my P5, and I offered to post this brake kit for him.. hehe, against the rules, but if we don't tell anyone we won't get caught. Oh tell your friends!! <-----------noticed I said "we" I love this little family of ours.

BTW, thanks for Mark's name xviper. Not sure what I will do, as the best opton is a tad out of my reach for now. He seems like a good guy.

p.s pictures of the kit soon...

Yer velcome!
That's a lot of dinaros for a set of brakes AND you'd have to get 18" wheels & tires to boot. Especially when you consider that the stock brakes on this car is already stellar! But I suppose somebody who just has to have the stuff they had on F&F, will fork out the money.

You like the stock brakes on this car? Just what I've found, but they seem to have that generic Honda feel.. its like you can jump into any Honda car and it brakes the same. I'm sure this car stops a bit quicker than most... I've just never been a fan of the brakes on Hondas I guess.

Ever driven a GTi VR6? I love the feel of the brakes on one of those.... although I'm sure a harder pedal could be achieved by using stainless steel lines?

I've never driven a GTI but I owned a Scirocco a long time ago so no comparison. I had a 91 Civic and those brakes were barely adequate when new.
Then I had a couple of Vettes (an '88 and a '90). In those years, the car mags reported them as one of the most shortest stopping cars in the world (99' from 60 mph). The "S" supposedly does this in 123'. This is very comparable to its competitors like the Z3, Boxster, Audi TT. This is not really close to those Vettes but it "feels" like it comes pretty close - very quick solid stops.
