Forum's been very quiet lately!
I recall we were discussing Scangauges a while back. I bought one, mounted it on one of Modifry's panels, next to the heating controls. I like it.
Just got the latest Princess Auto flyer. They have a Scangauge clone - on sale right now for $80! I think my fiancee paid about $150-175 last year for my Scangauge. Princess says the regular price is $150 on their clone. Looks like it's the same sort of size as the Scangauge. Cheap alternative!
As an aside, and for discussion about other cars....I sold my Saab, the SAABOTR. I posted pix of it a while ago, after painting it flat black. Thought I would love driving it again, but after driving it for a few weeks, realized it couldn't compare to an S2000 for handling or driving feel. Flogged it to another local Saab nut who's going to build it up a bit more, with parts from his similarly built car (fresh motor, Quaife). Will be cool, I'm just glad I didn't have to part it out to get any money out of it.
I'm desiring an AMG of some sort for my winter/road trip car. Not that 300+hp / 300+ ft lbs and RWD really makes sense for a winter car, but don't care....just want something different. I figure it will be a good foil to the S2000, something completely different - comfy, torquey, luxurious, quiet.
Next, to part out the rally car to help fund the AMG purchase!
