I'm in on this and I think koala is too. I asked Pete (Kodokan) if he wanted me to do a local "call out" thread so we could get more guys to up his order but he said no. He didn't care if there were 30 or 100. He needed HUGE numbers to get any sort of "deal" from the lock manufacturer. He also will not sell to non "owners" (security reasons).

I'm on the fence on this one. If they are going to get my seats, then I would assume that there would be damage to my exterior to gain entry. They won't be able to see the bolts until they break into the car. My stereo would probably also dissapear. Wouldn't it be better to just let the insurance company replace and repair any problems. The way I look at it, let them steal the whole car and write it off...I would get a brand new one.

I figure my dual zone, after market alarm is the most that I should have to use to deter thieves. Wouldn't it make sense to put the $100 towards such an alarm?

I would pay just for the stickers.

OR, you let your snake sleep under one of your seats from time to time.

OK guys, "Kodokan" has indicated he has exceeded the 50 sets so he'll have to order 100. He has given the go ahead to "spread the word" about this GB.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS GROUP BUY IS ONLY OPEN TO REGISTERED "OWNERS" WHO WERE REGISTERED AT THE TIME OF THE COMMENCEMENT OF THIS BUY. For security reasons, he will NOT sell these to anyone else or to an owner with a "short" history.
Additionally, I will NOT vouch for anyone who I have not personally known for some time (so don't ask).

yeah, $60 USD for 4 bolts sounds pretty pricey......i invested in an alarm instead

if it were cheaper, then i'd go for it

A&B Sound has a sale on right now...

Alpine SEC150R alarm-Dual Zone and Impact Sensors-Proximity sesors-Dual 4 Button Remotes for $327 Installed(not including parts,shop materials,custom and bypass labour)

I have this alarm and am happy with it. As xviper and FormerH22a4 have witnessed, if someone puts a finger on my car the alarm goes off. Great to watch people back off my car .
