Default shocks/springs

I may have asked this before but I'm looking for suggestions re: new shocks/springs. My goal is to lower the car about an inch. I believe that there is an outfit in Vancouver that some of you have dealt with.

A lot of people here have dealt with A&J in Vancouver. Although I haven't dealt with them personally, I've seen some of their work and heard nothing but good things about them...

I installed a set of (Mugen?) springs and Koni Yellows in a customer's car and he's doing REALLY well with that combination in autocrosses. He's got a few other bits that help as well of course, but those made an excellent starting point.
