Default Should I Buy An Esprit ?

I have a deal pending on my 911 and the intent was to have only the S2000 as my fun car. I may not have a wife soon if I keep buying cars. I will forever keep the S2000 as I greatly enjoy the car. I have owned numerous Porsches over the years and need a change. I have always admired the purposeful look of the 94-95 Lotus Esprit S4/S4s (final evolution of the 4 cylinder Esprits). I have been scared by their tempermental nature however. Zahir has a very nice 95' S4 with just over 30,000 KM that I have been humming over. I just can't decide if I should take the plunge.

Hmmm... That would be two relatively modern, high strung inline-fours in the collection. Are you sure you want that? I see that Zahir also has a '72 Pantera for the same price. What about a mid-mounted 351 Cleveland in a retro exotic Italian body? When I was in highschool, my friend's dad had a '72 Pantera. Damn, did we have a good time with that car.

Chris.

Both of Zahir's Pantera's have been sold to U.S. buyers. I think I am going to stay put and wait until next year if I do anything at all.

Only if you can do the maintenance yourself.

Ahh heck...what the hay. Just buy the damn thing. Any good wife wouldn't mind. (Checking over shoulder to make sure mine's not looking! )

When it comes to the wife, I've always felt that if you have to ask for permission, you don't deserve the toy
