Default Soft Top Protection

Anyone here notice that their soft top is no longer "black" as it used to be? Whats a good thing to use to restore it and keep the plastic rear window clear? I hear plexus is good for the rear window but where can u pick it up around here? I heard just soap and water is good enough for the soft top but it doesnt get it any more "black"....any ideas?

I use low gloss ArmourAll on it twice a year. Works pretty good. Some folks here prefer 303 Protectant. The choice is yours.

I've heard this rumour too but I've done about 3 applications on it so far and it seems to be holding up OK. The top gets blacker afterwards and stays for a few months. You better go with what you're comfy with. What have you heard, specifically?

....I use the soft top cleaner available from the Porsche dealer in town (recommended some time ago by someone in the general S2KI community) and it works great. It was a bit pricey but should last quite a while. They also sell a protectant spray that I use. After I use them the top is as black as the day I got the car.

....I'd guess that our top isn't the exact material that you would find on a Porsche but I have used their product for a year now and I am more than satisfied with the results. I'm sure there are other shampoos that work just as well...if you find one please pass along the info.
