Default some pix of the RPF1s

Took the car out for a quick spin yesterday, as it was so nice out. I don't drive the car year round, and I've only got the one set of wheels and tires. The RPF1s are 17x8 and 17x9, +45 all around. Definitely a racier look than the AP2 wheels I had before.

Suspension is stock for now, but I've got a set of Konis and Ground Controls just about ready to put on the car, and my friend's fender roller ready just in case. Probably get that all together in April or so.

Also in the pic (but not really noticeable) - freshly painted from bumper and lip, and freshly polished and 3M'd real JDM headlights.

I can't stand amber! Personal preference I guess.

I literally drove the car like 5 km, and only hit VTEC once. It's back into the garage now. I'm going to tighten down a few bolts on the lip, and the cover goes back over it until the winter is on its deathbed.

i don't mind the amber at all, it looks good especially on black, provides a nice contrast.

yup, i love the amber too. Those'll look good once it's on the new suspension, and i suspect you may need that fender roller.

BTW; did your friends ever buy those scales for cornerweighting? Is the group of friends Robin and Mike and those guys?

I can't stand amber, you guys are weird...

I think amber is out of place on dark coloured cars, but perversely (from my perspective!), I think it's okay on some black cars. But whatever, to each his own and all that, right?

Anyway, no rubbing currently, but I haven't driven on anything really rough yet. I think it'll be okay on stock height, but I don't plan to be on stock height for too long. I just want to get the Ground Control bespoke top mounts and then I can rock n roll with putting all the other parts on the car.

Haven't purchased the scales yet, but hopefully in the next couple of months. Robin and Mike would probably be two of the guys, then another friend of mine. We'll rent them out to you... Though I heard you were moving to Vancouver or Victoria? I may have to snag that sway bar from you before then...
