Default Spoon suspension...

Just got my Spoon shocks and progressive springs installed couple days ago...

Wow........nice ride.......

Perfect for roads in Alberta especailly Edmonoton.....

IMO, higher end coil-overs ($1800+) with springs rate like F:10k R:10k are totally overkill for Edmonton

4k and 6k i believe...but they are progressive not fixed so averages.

I have been strongly looking towards these as well...how much of a drop? I only want 1"-1.25".

How soft? I am acustom to coilovers and found them fine in edmonton, mind you spring rates were 5/7k.

Where does one get these Spoon springs, and Spoon shocks too?

I've been thinking of getting Konis and Ground Controls - then I can spec out my spring rates.

Here's a link with some of the popular aftermarket spring rates:

Ya...Spoon is F:4.7 and R:6.9

it's 1" drop, so no worries of rubbing if u guys are planning to run different wheels....

the ride is very nice, not too harsh at all....

i can't really remember how stock feels, but ppl said it rides pretty close to stock...

tried to take corners a little bit faster with the road condition today....it handles very good....gives me more confidence for sure......

Eddie drove my car today too...so maybe u guys can ask him for opinions......hehe

I mean if u guys are looking for shocks & springs combo instead of coil-overs....this is a very nice choice....

Consider Showa made the shocks, same company that makes the OEM shocks, I think Spoon just re-valved the shocks and painted them yellow...hahha

So u know the quality is there....and I believe RSR made the spings........
it even says "S2000" on the springs..hahaha

As far as I know, Spoon just contracted Showa to design and manufacture both springs and shocks..
