Summer Drive '02 - Calgary & Area.
July 27th (Saturday)
VTEXTC and I (weather pending of course for Asif
) will be going for a little drive this day. Any and all are welcome to join us.
We will begin the day with breakfast somewhere in the S.W. (we'll hash this out later).
At 10 am, we will proceed toward and through Bragg Creek and down to Longview. (This is the last drive but in the opposite direction.)
From there, we'll go to the southern entrance to the Highwood Pass. There, we will stop to have a (picnic) lunch at this very picturesque site on the property of a little gas station/convenience store.
After lunch, we'll drive through the beauty and serenity of K-country.
Come out on Highway #1, go through Seebe and connect up with Highway 1A.
After more scenic, winding roads back to Cochrane where we will stop on main street and treat ourselves at the famous ice cream shop.
This date is almost set in stone as Asif's schedule is the most complex of all of ours and this is the one day he is able to do this easily. (I don't want him working till 2am the previous night and then "struggling" to meet up with us.)
I'll bring this TTT from time to time and when we get closer to the date, I'll PM all of those we know (who have not posted here) a link to this thread in case some have not seen it.

I would love to come except for the fact that I don't have an S yet 
So, I will put the q out there now, anyone got a free seat? I know Dave's had enough of me in his car so I don't wanna trouble him on this drive.
