Just a further update to the meet. I will be on holidays from may 1- and back for the meet so i want to get a few things out before i go. Where i am going there isn't a telephone just scenery so i can't check in on this.
I work for the local separate school board so the location is at 4316-55st, red deer which is the maintenance building. The building is two story, white stucco with green trim and has the posted sign/name on it. There is a few bays which we can use, a lunch room, and a meeting room. If we want to order in or go out for a meal both are options. Also the meeting room has a white board in it so if someone wants to do a verbal presentation that is an option. As mentioned there is a few bays so if different people want to discuss different topics on their cars then we can set up each bay/car for that particular topic. Just let me know what you guys need and i will try and see if i can have it ready.
Seeing as how the majority are coming from calgary i will describe how to get to it from there first:
From highway 2 enter Red Deer onto gaetz ave, heading north, and stay on it. You only have to make one turn right (east)at 55 street. This intersection is approx in the center of Red Deer.(just south of the river) has a Church and a Minit Lube, kitty corner to one another. Proceed east on 55 for approx 6 blocks. You have to go thru three traffic light intersections and the building is on the north side of the street. You will see a few school busses in the yard and my car.
For the guys coming from Edmonton proceed south on gaetz across the river and turn left at the first intersection which is 55 st. The old Alpha plant is on this intersection. You will have to go thru four traffic light intersections.
The only thing that is still up in the air is what time is this starting, ending? No restrictions on my part. From what i can decifer from the messages is that potentially there might be a few knowledgeable/willing presentators which might dictate the time requirement.
There was mention of the auto cross and i have room for everybody and i feel the more the merrier or more questions answers.

thanks for the write up on everything kevin... I really should try to get down there before hand, unless you don't think I need to?

I think we'll have to shoot for a start time of 11 AM, being that I have a feeling we'll have at least a few hours of content. I just purchased two bottles of Honda MTF, hoping maybe that we can use my car as the trans. fluid demonstrator (if not, no big deal).

What I'd like to do is have everyone post up here how many km's it has been since their last differential fluid change. Whoever has gone the longest can be the car to get changed. You'll simply have to pick up some Mobil 1 75w90 before hand (or let me know to bring a bottle, I have extra... just buy me a couple of beers later )

More than welcome to come for a visit dylan just phone me prior to,to make sure i am there. As far as content of things to learn/see i personally think that what ever anybody is willing to show/discuss will be helpful to someone. If some of you want to complete/ start/discuss a project others can learn from it. Once again the more people the better. Let me know prior to the end of the month so that i can help out with getting things if needed.
