Just received my Spearco from Tech2 Motorsports. To my DISGUST, it showed up at my front door on a UPS truck and the delivery guy's standing there with his hand held out for money. I got ROYALLY SCREWED for 55 bucks brokerage fee on something that FedEx would have only charged me 1/2 that for. Canada Post would have been 5 bucks.
I specifically told Drew at Tech2 that would not buy this thing if it was sent by UPS. He wrote back clearly stating that he will ship it by USPS (POSTAL SERVICE). Either he had a brain fart or HE OUTRIGHT LIED TO ME! In either case, this has turned out to be a LOVE/HATE deal. He gave me the GB price but that immediately evaporated by the UPS brokerage.
Tech2 .................................................. ... NEVER AGAIN!
All I can say is "This thing had better not leak".
Ok, so the two of you had a deal, which included shipping it USPS. I'd be going back to him right now and demanding a partial refund to cover the brokerage fees. And I'd be a prick about it and make it public.

He has not responded to my email about this nor has he responded to any of my emails since I placed the order with him. Maybe he was just trying to stall till the CC charge got through and the thing showed up on my doorstep. Oh well, at least he didn't stiff me on the merchandise.
Well, just got it mounted onto the car. So far, I think it's just "bling" but once I drive it, I can compare intake temps. The real test won't be till next summer when things get really hot. To my surprise, the thing doesn't take anymore coolant than what fell out when I took out the stock Vortech rad. Maybe I just need to drive it some to get all the air out.

Well, you know how it is. You get something shiney and new delivered and it's hard to refuse it. There will be no next time from Tech2, nor will they get my endorsement on this site or anywhere else.
So far, still no reply to any of my emails. Funny how he answered my first email faster than a speeding bullet when it came to securing the sale. And there's no point phoning. They screen all their calls through an answering device where you must give your name and state your business. I doubt he'll answer once he finds out it's me. Oh, and I know for a fact he's around. He's posted new 4 sale threads lately.
