Default Testing Water

Thinking it's time for a change....not really sure yet....but I wanna know how much is my car worth....

Canadian car, orginally from B.C.
MY2003 Grand Prix White w/blue interior
About 45,000 KM

Mod list:
AP2 front bumper w/ OEM front lip
OEM side strakes
OEM rear lip spoiler
Seibon Mugen style carbon fiber hood
K&N FIPK intake
S2X Radiator and intake cooling plate
J's Racing SPL headers
T1R 70mm V2 single exhaust
Spoon Fix Type suspension (the yellow shocks with blue springs)
J's Racing SPL rear bumpsteer kit
Spoon front X-brace
Cusco front strut tower bar
Cusco rear bar
4.44 final drive rear gears w/ yellow jacket

I still have most of the OEM parts...like the Cat. , exhaust manifold, stock air box, stock rear gear....

2 set of wheels.....OEM AP1 w/ bridgestone blizzaks (I am not driving in the winter car is just parked in my garage) and OEM AP2 w/ bridgestone S03 (80% left in front, rear tires are done)

Don't worry about the services done to this car....I am a Honda mechanic, I took car this car good.....Motul oil change every 3 months less than 5000km...Tranny oil change every second engine oil change, diff. oil change at least once a year, brake and clutch fluid change at least once a year, under carriage wash on hoist every month....

I think my next car will be either the 4 door Civic Si or the CSX-S, time for a change...something I can drive all year round with 4 doors..haha

That's a good question but with the US cars out there I'm no good at doing the conversion on em now.

If I were you I'd price it around $30K and be sad about it Like I said though, I have no idea about reality.

realistically you will probably get anywhere from 25-30k for it, depending on the buyer (someone who knows the value of buying a canadian model or someone who doesn't care that they're getting a US car).

the blue interior will help your sale as it's quite rare.

It's a Canadian car.

You're really going to have to part it out if your goal is to recoup your cash as much as possible, provided, obviously that you have the stock parts or can get your hands on em!

Probably $25K, with some extra money if you part it out as MikeyCB recommends. Autotrader has a low mileage 2006 going for $33K, which gives you an idea about the top price point that you can get.

Don't you wish you had driven it more now?

yes and no, maybe someday it will be worth a little bit more. If all the young people can smash up the remaining one's the good one's might get a few bucks more!

Unfortunately our market is slowly starting to align with the US market now. Dealers are selling new cars in Canada with major rebates from the factory now to start competing with the much lower American prices. They still are not nearly close enough to American pricing but its a start. I mean I can now have new '08 S2k's up here for sale at around $40k cdn. However, the fact that your car is a Cdn car with help in resale some and being in AB should help you as well as you have a bigger market their and prices seem to be stronger out there. I would say advertise for around $32k and be prepared to settle around $28-30k. I would also take MikeyCB's advise and part out.

the $25k-28k seems about market price.

part out if you plan to get as much cash as possible. I will take the CF hood! =D
