Default Thinking of a 330ci

Don't hate me guys but I am starting to cheat on the S. I am sort of tired of my clutch noises, tough tranny in the cold, and seriously considering ditching her for a 330ci. I love the S, but it isn't perfect. I have yet to drive the perfect car for me.

I ditched my prelude because of eminent tranny failure, now I have a S with questionable tranny components I got the S since it was highly tuned and so wouldn't require mods but I have so many mods plans for it now

Perhaps it is just time to turn my brain off and go Grand Turismo style with the 330ci. Any thoughts or insights guys?

Funny you mention that beamer.

Few weeks after owning my S, I decided to check out BMW's website and see how much the cars cost. To my suprise, the 2-door 330ci coupe is only $48500 cad msrp!

Yes, they are the same MRSP, and if you don't pile on the options, they will come out vertually identical in price. I only would want red seats so not much of an addition.

I'll try to fight the urge, it doesn't help that winter is comming

I don't think a 3 series beemer would be any better in winter than an S.

My daughter's boyfriend has one. It's very nice car but he can't seem to leave it alone. He wants it better, faster, quicker, different looking, different sound (intake and exhaust). He sees me getting gears. He wants gears. He's "chipped" it, "lipped" it and performance "bitched" it. If I put on my S/C, I wonder how far behind he'll be. It just never ends. You've taken a big hit with the first year depreciation. It's gonna cost even if can resist staying with a base, stock 330 but can you? When you get into the Bum W store, that shiney new car and all those goodies you "could" add to it will get you caught up in the frenzy. You should check out their forum to see if they've got problems with the car too. I've heard the new M3 hasn't been the "wundercar" it was supposed to be.
Careful!

Bum Dubyas are all RWD or AWD as are M/B.
(Unless you consider a Mini a BMW.)

Mini is owned by BMW, but not a BMW in my opinion.

Danny, fight the urge. One of my buddies' dad's at work has a 330i and just got it back after a week at the dealership for a faulty speedometer. A week for a 3 hour fix... consider also that BMW maintenance is EXPENSIVE
