Too much fun!!
I know a number of you made trips out to the West Coast this summer....did anyone take highway 3 instead of the TransCanada?? I drove the "longer" route (hwy 3) last Thursday and it was a hoot....it is amazing how quickly 12 hrs can go by when you are having that much fun.....the climbing, the corners, and with very little traffic it is a drive that I highly recommend to others (in a sports car of course). The weather was great so with lots of sunscreen and a hat I drove most of the time with the top down. The nice thing about the S is that you don't have to drive stupid to have fun...at least I didn't (perhaps I am getting too old). The one bad experience I had was related to our annoying headlights....on the windy and bumpy Hope-Princeton run I was pissing alot of people off when following them.....I got alot of high beams in my rear view mirror after passing folks.
I love #3 , and I know what you mean about getting flashed , last nite I was coming home from Forestburg and must have been flashed about 15 times , even on Hiway #2 , one guy came up behind me and flashed me after I passed him , I was pissed so I jammed on the brakes and flashed him too ! , . I drove Hiway #3 in the fall last year , i think I burned off my tires , but it was AWESOME , I felt like Mario Andretti ! he he

That's it, you have convinced me to take highway #3. I am still in Victoria and will be getting back very soon...I think?
