Default tread life q?

Alright so i've had an allignment done 3 times this year and both times after it's been perfect or such little off just because of the roads and what not.

Now i started off with
225 45 17 RT-615's in the front
255 40 17 RT-615's in the rear
at the start of the year, now after about 2 track days 1 day event and 1 evening event and a trip to the mountains aka aroudn 5500 km's they were already belting.

Now i put some junkier tires on tread ware is 300 opposed to 200 from the azenis but will that really make a huge difference. to last almost 3 times as long then the 615's?

Is it normal for the rear tires on a s2000 to wear quicker then fronts? even though the allignments an OEM spec alignment?

Sorry i'm kinda all over the place with this post ...

But has anyone else noticed this?

Matt.

my toe is bang on!

my camber is out yes i know that, but it should only affect the inside of the tire life not it's life as a whole.

I know i'm running 2.7 in the rear (camber)
and 1.8 ish up front.

Rears should wear twice as quick as the fronts.

The car is a RWD sportscar! There's your reason for the rears wearing quicker than the fronts. My friend's Boxster is the same.

Matt did you ever play Gran Turismo with the tire wear on? Same basic principle. The rear tires will wear faster if you drive your car hard. This is due to weight transfer during cornering and acceleration.

5500km is not normal, even for Azenis. I'm over 2000km on my new Z1*s and the sipes are still showing. Weren't you the guy giving angry alignment advice awhile back?
