Default trunk help

just need some help
installing my cf trunk.... but there is nothing to hold the key hole assembly... im thinking maybe i forgot to take something off my original trunk which i sold off so i i cant get it...
does anyone have a picture of inside their trunk they can show me where it holds the key hole assembly?

it has helped!!!
A's in the diagram show where the bolts should go into
the dotted holes... but the trunk doesnt have those... so im just wondering if that was a bracket i was suppose to take out... or if the cf trunk was just not made with that area built in

hmmmmmm.... thanks chris a pic would be awsome!

Yeah, I'll take a look tonight. My guess is the trunk might have holes that are threaded or had nuts tack welded to the back side of the sheet metal.

You can see there is an internal bracket that the lock bolts to. It feels like there are nuts welded onto the backside of the bracket.

that helps sooo much... so do u know if that bracket is removable or if its welded to the trunk?

i hope its removable...haha... my cf trunk does not have that...
but it looks like there is no place to attach that bracket too...
damn this sucks

That bracket looks tack welded in. Who made the trunk lid? Have you run a search to see what other people are doing to fix this problem?
