Do you mean 1080P (not i)?? These are just new to the market, and quite expensive. But they will soon be the flagship of TV's.

The Samsung 1080p is about a grand extra.

We would be in seclusion like Michael Jackson, Bill Gates, Howard Hughes, Donald Trump. We wouldn't be driving our own cars and while we're hiding from the public, that fancy TV will sure come in handy.

My 40" LCD TV can be used as a computer monitor. It has the VGA input. Here it is being used as a monitor.

Great. I'm always looking for way to remove clutter in my house. I*s there a down side to using a TV as a P.C. monitor?

well, you won't get the resolution on the TV as you would on a computer monitor.

Most LCD tv's are have 720 lines of resoution, whereas something as simple as my laptop, has 900 lines of resolution.

I'm sure the higher scale monitors have better numbers than that.
