Default What exhaust?

Just seeing what exhaust the locals have installed on their S2000's.

What exhaust do you have? Any drawbacks? Any regrets? Too loud? Too quiet? Too much drone?

I am pretty set on getting a catback but have no idea what to get...

Fujitsubo! short of a Mugen, best exhaust out there at almost 1/2 the price.

Nice deeper sound than stock but not loud until vtec land. No drone in any rpm, best sound/quality/value of any exhuast imo.

The supersprint is pretty nice too but tough to get your hands on one.

I had a Tanabe (the quiet one) that I liked the sound of but the looks weren't great. I currently have the SuperSprint with and without the resonator. There is a lot of droning in the 3500 rpm range without the resonator. The only reason that I leave it on is that it sounds awesome at the high end. If you are going to drive your car all year round (ie lots of top up driving) I wouldn't go with the SS w/o the resonator. I will say that any decent exhaust upgrade will probably be one of the best mods you could do since the stock exhaust just dosen't do this car any justice....my 2 cents.

i have the skunk2
very loud in vtech but sounds beautiful!
only complaint is the drone! alot of people would probably hate it
next year i will probably put the stock resonator in to get rid of the drone
then it will be perfect when it hits vtec

Actually I want to sell mine.

T1r Dual sparrow. Such a pimp exhaust. I love it, however it's making me run lean because of my supercharger......

Been semi-lurking here the past few months. Some may recall my thread asking general questions about the S2000. I think I may have found one, should know if I'm going to pull the trigger on it tomorrow afternoon sometime (waiting on leakdown test results).

Been thinking about mods already. I can't seem to find a consolidated thread on price and HP gains for intakes or exhausts. And more importantly, where does one get this stuff in Alberta? I see that AJ Racing in Vancouver has a pile of stuff, including 60mm Invidia polished exhaust for C$650. Not bad, what are people's thoughts on this exhaust? At any rate, would 70mm be a tad big for an NA motor? I run a custom 3" system on my turbo car.

As for intakes...damn....I like the Comptech, seems to be decent. Any other thoughts? Those full carbon intakes that replace the stock box are mucho expensivo!
