keep my S and buy a Fit

 

I'm now back to 100% if I'm going to replace my S, it's gonna be with another S. I test drove the STI yesterday, and I am pretty damn sure that I can make my car drive a hell of a lot faster than I can the Subie. I was pretty disappointed getting out of my S in the parking lot, then directly into the STI.

STI

Cons:
- No sunroof in Canadian cars
- Chances are there is no black exterior available until next MY
- Sitting on the seat feels like sitting ON TOP of the seat, unless the S where you sit IN the seat
- Shifter feels pretty imprecise
- Pedals lack the appropriate substantial feeling that I like, though they do give pretty good feedback from the car to my foot
- TURBO LAGGGG off the line, and between shifts
- Power comes in surges, even when throttle pressure is constant

Pros:

- Sticks in the turns like a bug on fly paper
- Unique exterior styling
- Manually adjustable (or automatic) AWD bias
- Intercooler water sprayer right from the factory
- Heated seats

I am not sold. I HAVE to drive an AP2 so I can decide if I'm better off to be sticking with my current S.

And if I'm getting a new one, I want to get a NEW one. I missed out seeing the S/C run on yours though, too bad.

Why did you even sell it??? You have like 18 garages! Coulda kept a toy...

 

Who knows what I'll get next... but right now I'd be leaning towards a 335i sedan.

 

I think I like the STi or maybe the M3 or S4.

 

I am keeping my S2K as a weekender and got a 335i sedan for my daily driver.

 

If I add to the stable it'll be a 360 C/S or a Ducati....

 

haha no idea what I would get. too many choices! i think i want to try out a Porsche Cayman S or 997 Carrera.
