When is the next calgary meet?
WHAAAT? Ahem, sorry for the yelling. I was so sad to leave Toronto and Mosport, I brought my helmet anyway jusssst in case I found one somewhere.
Are there open track days? I found racecity.com but didn't see much about a road course on there. Ever an S2000 day?
Edit: I see the road course, but I don't see a map of the track layout. I want an open track day!

The only times I've been on the track has been when another group was sponsoring, or for driving instruction. There has never been an S2000 day that I'm aware of.
I know the fast and furious crowd goes there a lot for drag racing, but we all know that isn't driving.....

Just FYI...
i go to the track 1-2 times/ month during summer. There are tons of track days organized through multiple organizations. More than enough to chew through your tire budget lol. Anyways, I go with the Exotic Car Club and last event was almost like an S2000 meet since a lot of exotic car owners decided to bring out their S2000s. 5 total that day lol. Fun to run alongside Ford GTs, 911 Turbos, Farraris, Lambos, Carrera GT, etc.
This is a private club, but one i know off the top of my head that's worth contacting for anybody is;

great people. Just go to a HPDE with them and then you're welcome to their track days which run at least once/ month. They can also refer you to other groups if you want to track your car more often.
Track days are becoming a very common thing in Calgary. So much money in this city it's not even funny. There isn't a car that's legal in Canada that i havent seen at the track. Of course cars like Zonda are illegal here or someone would have one... or two lol.
Here's a Race City link with some local sites they link.

Not to mention Allen Berg Racing School just opened up if you want Open Wheel training.
Calgary isn't the quiet the once horse town you may think it is coming from out east. Welcome and HAVE FUN!

Hmmm I wonder if my high performance driver training in Toronto is valid enough to take part in the track days.
Either way another training day couldn't hurt. Track Evening is a tempting proposition...
