Who is from winnipeg?
i changed my diff fluid last week, it's just as easy as changing manual tranny fluid...the biggest issue is actually getting the fluid into the differential since you gotta fill it from the side. I bought one of those hand pumps from canadian tire to do the job.
first take off the fill bolt using a 23mm open ended wrench, ratchets won't fit. then remove the drain bolt using a 24mm. stupid that they used different size bolts...
it's kinda a messy job, all you need is about a couple quarts i believe of 75w90 synthetic motomaster formula 1 fluid, u can get it at canadian tire, i think $10/quart. i don't think the brand really matters, as long as it's 75w90.
the fluid that's in the diff from the factory is this thick black crap, so let it drain for like 30 min, then just put drain bolt back and fill with new fluid through the fill hole until it starts leaking back out and your done.
REMEMBER that both fill both and drain bolt has washers, i remember when i changed mine i forgot the washer to the drain bolt in the drain pan...and when i was cleaning the drain pan, noticed the washer, so i quickly opened the drain bolt and put the washer on and screwed it back in...managed to lose only a little diff fluid.
