OH OH! What happened? Can it be repaired? Had mine repaired at this place in Crowfoot just opposite the "Y". There is also a guy in a tent that does repairs (on the way to Joey Tomatoes). I know it costs about $850.00 dollars 'cause it needs an extra kit for the install.

Nope, can't be repaired. Got a chip just below the driver's wiper and it instantly cracked about 4 inches. So far. BTW I'm doing my oil change tonight.

Tim,

Aww man..thats devastating. I will talk to my G/F dad who works for PPG (glass distributor for Honda and others) to see if he can get us a deal on the glass. Give me until the weekend if you can.
Cheers

Thanks Asif, but I'm not too worried about the cost as I will be going through my insurance. What I'm looking for though, is quality workmanship on the install.

Can arrange good quality install as well. When I did my glass for my 4Runner, the company that installed it was instructed that if any silicone, scrathches or otherwise found its way onto the exterior or interior of my car, there would be trouble. I watched the entire installation, and found that it was done very well. They even went as far as to use pressurized air to blow all the dust of my truck, just in case, if during the install, they happened to lean on it, it wouldnt get scratched.

Who did the install you may ask? Well I just can't remember. Will try and look up the name and # for you. Located off of Blackfoot Trail just east of Glenmore.

Will let you know

Tim,

PS-would you be supplying the glass, or would you need them to supply it? Will you have it arranged to have it dropped off there, or would you need them to do it? I'm just forseeing some of the potential questions I may get asked when calling them.

Hmm. Let me contact my insurance company and see how they want to handle it and I'll get back to you. Thanks.
