I went with speedy for my 3 stone chips. They charge about $35 or so (can't remember).

I went to Speedy in Crowfoot and they did an "OK" job. Although the chip did not spread as a result of their work, it was still quite visible afterwards. Try to find someone who does the true "Novus" system.

I went today to Apple Auto Glass out of convienience over lunch. It was OK, not great, I really don't care as long as it doesn't spread. I told him that if the windshield would be replaced, you need a kit from Honda. They guy said, he doesn't need any stinkin kit from honda, they have the stripping. Hopefully I wouldn't need it.

My Fiance's father has worked for PPG for the past 26 years. No one knows windshields better than him, and he guffaws at the thought of having to buy OEM strip "kits" at pathetic prices.

As an aside, I'm sure if there are a few folk interested in replacements, he might be able to swing a good deal.
