It's only a 30% chance of showers. I'll be there shortly after 4. Here is a map.

Jeff and I won't be able to make it next Sunday as there's an autocross at the Red River Ex grounds. Saturday is out too as we're teaching at a BMW driving school.

I think my girlfriend saw you on portage today and you waved at us.

Which parks are you going to and for how many days?
Sorry about the delay in responding. Over a thousand pictures to go over and edit (delete) some.

We met at Billings Montana and headed out the next morning for Yellowstone with 6 S2000's. We drove the Bear Tooth Pass. A drive that should not be missed if you like heights and twisty roads.

Yellowstone was a bit of a disappointment because many of the colored sulpohur pools were empty and simply white. Perhaps there is a better season.

We stayed in Kallispel Montana and drove the Glacier National Park through another cliffside route called Going to the Sun Road. Literally we crossed Ten Thousand Five Hundred feet altitude and plenty of snow banks and Big Horn Sheep roadside.

Other S2K site

From Kallispel we drove on to Banff then Jasper.
The Ice Field Parkway from Louise to Jasper is the best drive in the Rocky Mountain range. Over 3 1/2 hours of continuous mountains and ice. We toured Athabaska Glacier and Athabaska Falls and several viewpoints for photo ops.

The last day we did some local drives in the Banff Louise area. The Mount Norquay drive is about 2Km long but has about 8 switchbacks on pavement. WOW what a drive! Just watch out for wild life.

We met xviper (dave) in Banff where we shared a beer and some good stories. Dave has retired from the Calgary Fire Department and is currently spending his time hauling rocks and yard materials for his wife. Some retirement!
