Default WTB OEM wheels with or without S02's

I know this belongs in "Group buys and for sale", but I only want to buy these locally so as to avoid shipping, duty, tax, brokerage etc. etc.

Must be in "as new" condition. Would prefer '02 or '03 but will consider '00 or '01. (Slight colour difference)

Not in a rush as I won't be putting them on until May, but thought I'd put the message out there in case anybody hears of any available.

I thought about getting the SSR GT1's in 17", but after thinking about this for several months, I can't get around the fact I would have to do without the S02's.

What do u mean u have to do without S02's? I have 17s and S02's on mineeee

Anyways, I have a set of OEM but the 00' model ones. BTW, I didnt know there was a color differenceeee??? Whats the difference? Is mine a bit darker or lighter than the later model ones?

How much do those go for anyways? I have about 4-5000kms on it and have been sitting in my garage ever since (in plastic bags, of course!) w/the OEM S02's...

I guess it depends if it worth selling them or not....let me know....its not like i was looking to sell them anyways..LOL...

The S02's are not the same. Are you running S02 Pole Positions?

The '02 (and I am only assuming '03) wheels have a VERY slight gold colour to them.

When search is working again I will do a search and find out what the going price is. If we happen to work out a deal, I will be in Edmonton in February and could pick them up then.

What 17's did you buy? Did you lower? Have any pics?

Tim, I would ask around for people who have used the S03s compared to the OEM S02s when they made the switch to 17"s

I seriously don't believe that there will be a noticeable difference between the OEM S02s and the regular S02s or their replacement the S03s.

Yup, Im using S02 Pole Positions...

I have the Volk Racing GT-P's

and yes, I did lower it and Former is right, I didnt notice a huge difference between the two. Well, to be honest, I think the Pole Positions felt better but I blame that on some of the suspension mods ive done....i.e Sway bars, strut bars, stiffer springs (.75" drop only, btw)

Here's a pick...

Whoa! the OEM rims and tires go for pretty cheap!

Woodson, if they go for so cheap, why dont u just buy a new set from the dealer? No worries about scratches or dings....and not only that, u can probably get a new set of tires too! Plus, get some 02'-03' model rims...the kind u were looking for in the beginning?

I wonder how much they are at the dealership? I bet Gary might be able to get u a steal of a deal on them too!

They are very expensive to buy brand new. H and A Accessories sells them for $1,429.40 USD per set of 4. I can just imagine what a dealer would want for them.

Woodson:

I was thinking about selling my OEM rims but am on the 2nd winter with them. I don't think they can be classified as 'almost new' You probably won't want them.

As you may know, when I picked up my 2002 S2000 Dec 17th, 2001, I put Blizzaks on the stock rims immediately. I have the SO-2's (a grand total of maybe 10 miles on them) in the basement for almost a year now and am trying to sell them. The local S2000 owners still have tread on their tires (one guy replaced his with cheap all seasons ) so no one locally is interested.

One guy was interested in my rims and rubber so I priced out the rims at my local dealer. Would you believe $2554.70?

Note that this is a quote I received and it does not include taxes (GST and PST)! I don't know how much mark-up is involved but this is the price I was given by the Parts Dept. itr-Gary can probably look into this for you.

Any ways, I am willing to part with my 16 inch SO-2's and would be willing to give up the rims in a total package for the right price. Any offers? I like my 18 inch SSR-GT-1's too much and I can always get some cheap rims for the Blizzaks come next year.

Personally, unless you are coming to Saskatoon in May, this may be too much of a hassle. Any ways, let me know if you are interested and I'll try to work out a deal that worth your while.

Otherwise, good luck with your search.

Talk to you later.

Louie
