Default August 14th drive

Keeping with the every two week drives that Denver has started, I figured that I would start a new post for the next drive. I don't think that Denver had anything in mind, so we need opinions for where the drive should be. I think someone brought up the idea of a Breckenridge drive, or maybe a Mt. Evans drive. Any suggestions? Lets get something going, only a week and a half left to decide.

Drive safe,

Kyle

If we decide on heading to Breckenridge where should we meet up? What time do you think we should meet? I think its about 80 miles out of denver. About an hour drive.

I was thinking that we could do our normal meet at loaf and jug (in golden), at about 10:30- leave at 11. Eat lunch up there, maybe take a few pics, then head back. I'm open for suggestions for what we could do while we are there.

Breckenridge sounds cool!! Any ideas on a route? Some sort of loop would be good. Not sure what we have planned for that Sunday, but will try to make it if we can. We can also give R&H a call and see if they can make it as well. IF there is another ride in two weeks (the weekend of the 27/28), I know we cannot make it as that is "Kool Nights" up in Deadwood, SD and we will be up there.

Sounds like we are heading to Breck, anybody have an idea on a route? Maybe I-70 to loveland pass, drop down into Dillon. Anybody know how to get on that road on the east side? Then go over dillon reservoir into Frisco, then head to Breckenridge.

Silk- I saw that cop at 85 mph, I thought for sure that he was going to turn around and chase us all down. I was focused on my mirror for a couple of miles.

Yea, I know the road you're talking about (by sight not by name).

Count me in on this drive. Gotta work Sat. night, so I'll be tired as usual.
