Somehow I was under the impression that all S2Ks came with a clear bra but mine didn't. Needless to say, I got the first little rock nick in the front end and lost about an hour's sleep last night moaning over it. Grrrr. Any recommendations for local shops that do first class installs that may also be reasonably priced? Also, I do have the bottle of touchup paint and any advice on covering the nick without making it more apparent if done by a non-pro (me)?

If you can wait till late August, maybe we could try to do a group buy. (my car arrives in August). If not post now maybe you can get enough cars for a good discount.

Don't use the brush that on the cap of the touch up paint bottle. Clean out the chip as best you can with a pointy Xacto blade, wipe with alcohol, air dry well, then use the torn end of a match stick to dab the paint into the hole. If it's cleaned properly, capillary action will "suck" the paint into the hole. Let dry a couple of days and very carefully wet sand the paint bump till it's flush with the surrounding surface. At that point, put a bit of polish on it and then you can cover it with the 3M film.

dzfx,

With 24" on the hood, it was around 921 with tax. They did the whole front nose and the side mirrors.
