Hey guys it seems like winter will roll around soon and was thinking lets everyone have a meet before winter arrives. Haven't done this before so I think It will be awesome. Leave your replies on what you think.

I threw this out year, and then travelled like hell, and couldn't do it...and it would of course be weather dependent...wakeboarding on Lake Granby (which is almost full and beautiful!). You guys drive up over Rocky Mtn or Berthoud Pass, we meet (I live up here!), BBQ, and wakeboard, etc. I can also get a pontoon boat for a party barge...uhhh, drink smart and drive... I think someone else had a ski boat, maybe they will chime in. Water is currently 68 degrees, which actually is pretty warm. There is a camping area or two on/near the lake, or maybe my house (about 20 minutes away)... I'd have to ask the wife! (We aren't very "kid friendly...think wolf dog...) Gasp - I live on a dirt road.

Or not. Always open for suggestions.

If I remember PFB's response was something like..."Boats, I like boats. Mountians, I like mountains..."!

Just a thought!

Kent

(If a camp out was in order, maybe a golf match to boot?!

golf?...i like golf!

besides, i wouldn't mind getting away from this west nile virus laden region for a while. we have had between 15-20 wnv patients in the house at any time over the last month. that makes my hospital the hardest hit in the nation. yikes!

Wish I knew how to play golf, I understand the concept of the game but just never tried it.

Always up for a nice boat ride...

I think Cardude has a ski boat as well, but I don't know if he can tow it with his viper

I've got the boat if you've got the time. It's an older Sea Ray, but it does the job quite nicely. (haven't figured how to tow with the S, maybe my wife could take it up with the truck) Also after checking the weather it doesn't look boating weather this weekend.
We'll have to see if we can coordinate before the snow flies.
