In my last dying days as an S2K owner I'd like to take a poll on how many times you've been asked if your car is a Mazda Miata?

I've had my friends (girls) casually ask, "Oh, that's a real CUTE car. Is it a Miata?" And on the other extreme had a WRX owner blatantly mock me downtown as he drove by yelling "Vroom vroom, Mia-TAY!"

Anyone who has driven an S2K will KNOW that it is anything BUT a Miata.

Stories? I just thought it'd be interesting.

Several times on the Miata question...

And the guys in my waterskiing club always ask me "why are you in your GF's car?"

Whenever my wife sees a Miata on the road, she'll say "hey babe it's your twin!" just to get on my nerves... haha.

The worst part is knowing we roll around with the same diff.

 

i was asked if its a bmw. not a miata yet, so im crossing my fingers!
