Default Mini Ride Pics

Great ride today. Below are a few pics. Below the pics I have pasted an article I came across, it reminded me of today at least no one got bit.

Angry cyclist bites Polish bus driver's genitals

WARSAW, Poland (Reuters) - A cyclist angered by an overtaking city bus climbed aboard at the next stop and bit the driver's genitals, Polish prosecutors alleged Monday.

PAP news agency said the Podgorze district prosecutor in Krakow, south Poland, accused the man of causing bodily harm.

The prosecutor said the bus had tried to overtake the cyclist Sept. 9 and got by after tooting twice.

At the next stop the enraged cyclist left his bike, got onto the
crowded bus and began a quarrel which prevented it from driving on. Then he beat the driver, broke his nose, bit him in the stomach and genitals,'' PAP reported.

It said cyclist Slawomir A., 30, traced by police, argued that the bus had wrongly overtaken him. When he got aboard, the driver had enraged him by shutting the door and trying to drive on. If successfully prosecuted the cyclist could face up to three years in prison.

Great pics, Mark. Did any of the shots you took while driving come out? Heh@the article. I guess it's a good thing that most cyclists carry a limited number of water bottles. That man was so nice for providing us with some post-ride refreshment and a complimentary souvenir. Gotta love Boulder.

Thanks for the pics Vtecnrg! And thanks to bash for organizing the mini-ride. Lots of fun.

Now I have a story to tell my UK friends about how the symptoms of CJD (human form of BSE) have been seen in Boulder cyclists!

Of course, as far as they're concerned, this will be just a natural progression for Boulderites :-)

bash, here are some of the better(?) pics I took while driving. I think Kwandos right a yellow S2K would have brightened up the pics. Another fun day!

Whoa, look at that Zaino, baby! I was hoping my look-no-hands rollercoaster double *V* for VTEC hand signal came out. Pretty sweet camera. What brand/model? I'm gonna get one one of these days. Just can't decide between a motion or still camera. I think a time-lapse mpeg of one of our drives would r00l.

bash....Your 5 coats of Zaino have payed off.

The camera is a Olympus Camedia D-40 Zoom, 4.0 Megapixel. It takes short movies and records sounds. It has a 2.8X optical zoom, 7.25-20.33mm, 1:28-4.8. I purchased it Dec. 2001 and at the time it was the smallest camera with the highest mega pixel. The small size sold me. I purchased at Costco for about $600.00. I then went to Mikes Camera and purchased the 128 mb smart media card. I never run out of film. It takes incredible pictures, they are so clear even when you zoom in 5x. Next time were out I will shoot a short mpeg.

I must say, the scenery for you guys is much better than what we get in Philly. Although, the pics at the Philly Art Musuem (you know, Rocky on the steps) are nice.
