Your help is needed
Hello everyone, my name is Josh and i am 22. i recently just got out of the military and i currently live in tx. my step-dads oil and natural gas company has a branch in greeley, colorado. anyways, i was just trying to get some input on how it was in that area!
1. how close is it to the mountains
2. how is the s2k scene there
3. how is the night life
so.....if you could answer these questions....plus any additional info would be great!!

To be perfectly honest, I wouldnty live in Greeley. Tons of gang related activity, you get the smell from the beef slaughter houses, and its just not that great a place to live. Cheap houses though, if your interested in buying. There are numerous small communities around that you could live in and have just a short commute.
1. The mountains are approx. 30 miles to the west of Greeley. I live in Loveland which is in between the mountains and Greeley.
2. The S2k scene in Colorado in general is pretty good, but not like Texas. Theres probably 5-10 of us up here in Northern Colorado, most of the losers
live in the Denver area, which is about 40 miles to the south.
3. I'm older so I dont really know, but the night life is probably pretty descent in Greeley because of the University. Theres also Ft. Collins which is probably 20 miles to the northwest and they have a pretty good downtown nightlife scene with Colorado State University being there.
PS: If you move up here, plan on buying a beater for the winter time. Its much easier than driving the S in the winter.

hello Josh. I'm one of the "losers" from the Denver area . I wouldn't move to Greeley either but there are a lot of surronding areas that are ok. B answered all the questions pretty good. If you end up living north of Denver only can always go to Boulder for night life and if you don't mind a bit of a drive Denver has a great night life. S2K scene here has its ups and downs, there are quite a few of us but some people loose interest during the winter months. Summers are good around here though, lots of scenic drives.
