Glad it's restored!

Any details on the Dawn Powerwash treatment I can pass back? Straight out of the spray bottle (there's a bottle under my kitchen sink)?

I sprayed it directly on the spots, worked it in with a soft bristle tooth brush, let it sit for a few minutes, then flushed with a water bottle and patted it down with micro fiber towels. Amazing that it worked so well when various other products wouldn't even touch the stains! I'm ecstatic!!!

My detailer's comments (remember he does this daily)
Glad it was a simple fix! Dawn worked because it’s an alkaline cleaner, the steam option I mentioned was to help avoid contaminating the rest of the car if they only wanted to clean the top and not the rest of the car.

I would have still used my method as Dawn can be a huge pain in the butt to fully rinse out, especially within fabrics so I hope he really rinsed it thoroughly as Dawn tends to leave a film behind. 3D APC 10:1 rinses away super easily.
Hope the additional information helps (you and those reading along).

Thanks for the additional info on the rinse! I'll be sure to give it a good cleansing before adding protection again. I'll post up a pic when it's done!
I really appreciate all of the help and suggestions here.

I'm just happy your roof wasn't ruined!

Noted this on the Robbing roof website. Something I've always done even in my garage to help keep the dust (and Virginia pine pollen) out of the interior.
LEAVE YOUR TOP UP WHEN NOT DRIVING: We strongly recommend that you leave convertible tops latched in the up position overnight or whenever you are not driving your convertible. This will help retain the original shape of your top, resist shrinkage, and avoid crease marks where the top folds when in the down position. Leaving your top up when you are not driving will also help to prolong the service life of plastic windows.

Very happy here!
I'm dealing with the exact same thing right now. Is this what you used?

Yes, that's the product. Today I finished touching up any remaining spots. Later this week I'll give it a good washing and reapply water protection.

I would like to see how good your results are. Mine were okay. It's helping. I'll probably have to do it 3 more times to be close to all gone.

I did a spray, scrub, rinse, wipe, spray, scrub, rise, wipe. Maybe the strategy is more spray and rinse than scrub? It does leave a residue but it's just soap that does eventually rinse off.
