Default Another s2k accident caused by rain

Ok to start of i want to Thank everyone for taking there time to look at this post even though its my first time posting on this forum.

So long story short i was driving on a highway 99 and as i was coming across a bridge my s2 lost traction and i hydroplaned and spun out. Some guy driving a Jetta hit me at the right corner of my rear bumper and then as my car was spun the other way he hit me again right between the front an rear wheels.

So damage wise i lost the passenger door, right front fender, right rear fender, rear bumper, a slightly warped trunk, my exhaust muffler , and a possible damaged main beam on the right side.. I dont know if any of the wheels and suspension was damaged but i was able to drive to a buddy of mines house at 40 mph though the car did jerk at every crack in the road.

Soo how much do you guys think its going to cost to repair the car? Full coverage so im not going to complain.

Thanks for the reply. It seems the exterior damage was around $7800 so they are going to try and repair it. Thats without interior and machanical damage. Hopefully the interior damage wasnt that bad. Maybe i can save this rare piece of machinery. The car has only 80k miles i put about 8k on it.

How much tread you had left of your tires? Hope you weren't driving aggressively in the rain. You got to be careful driving the S in rain especially, if you are on a sport tire that doesn't perform well in wet conditions.

Glad you're OK and seeing that you have an early model AP1 it may be totaled. How many miles you had on the odo?

I see you just joined the forum was this your first S and only had it for less than a month? If so that really does suck your time with it was cut short.
