I've been searching everywhere but all I get are door panels that are compatible with AP1/AP2

I want to know if Ap2 doors are compatible with ap1 models. My ap1 door is damaged and I found a ap2 door same colour to replace. There has been yes and no answers. Does anybody know to confirm ? I've been told the electric wires are different is that true ?

Ps specifically the driver side door.

All doors are the same. bolt right on

 

keep the wiring i had the same problem and threw away my door wiring harness. unless you wanna sell it if you wont need it if its a driver side wiring harness pm me about it thanks

 

So I know the door bolts on perfectly, but you are saying the wiring harness for the ap2 is different for the ap1? Is that what you are clarifying?

yes i had to replace my door so i got an 04 driver door but mines an 02 ap1. wiring is not the same make sure to swap cause im screwed now cause im searching for an ap1 driver door harness so keep all wiring. but the door itself bolts right up speaking from experience.
