Just installed a ap2 bumper on my ap1. I'm seeing a gap on the inner corners where the headlight meets the bumper. It's about a half inch gap. It's not noticeable from the front but looking from the side it's more noticeable. I had the body shop cut the bumper support. They said they tried to line up the bumper but they said that's the best they can do. My ap1 bumper didnt have this issue. anybody else have this issue when doing the conversion?

 

Never had this issue on mine.... did they cut the support enough. If you paid them to do the conversion(which I assume you did) then you should take it back and demand them to make it work... maybe the bumper support under the headlights isn't getting snapped into correctly.

 

Take it back and tell them to fix it because it does go on fine. It will even go on fine without the bumper supports cut since it's not really neccessary, but everyone does it so we don't get spider cracks at those points where it touches the bumper. So with yours also cut it would go on even easier. My ap2 front fits like a glove with no gaps at all.
