Default bad seal?

Ok, I own a 2000 s2k with 50k miles on it. I had to drive it to work in the rain yesterday due to my daily being down. Well, I didn't think I would have any problems but after work I got in the car and it looked fine. Well I started to drive off and I noticed I was getting wet. So I get home and pulled into my garage and started looking at it. The front seal above the driverside window is the one thats leaking. So, I get to looking at it and it partially fell off. Is there anyway I could remount it so it wouldnt leak. Its leaking because its not on correctly (the other seals feel like they are glued on or something, this one doesn't.)

thanks an advance for all the help!

There is a groove in the rubber that fits over a metal lip. Yes you can remount it.

You could try some weather strip adhesive. I think some people use shin-etsu grease to help rubber pieces like that set properly and it also keeps them from drying out and cracking.

3M makes an adhesive specifically for rubber gasket/seals. Any good automotive store should have a product you can use, just make sure that the adhesive is specific to the two surfaces you are trying to bond, i.e. rubber to metal etc.

Here is a good one.

Also, Shin-Etsu grease keeps the seals pliable and supple so that they make a good seal.
