I just had my hardtop painted and it doesn't match the color of my car. My BB 01 has a blue/mettalic pearl in it. Can someone confirm of berlina black is supposed to be just a flat black.

 

BB is not metallic, sounds like your car has been repainted dude.

your car was probably re-painted nighthawk black blue pearl which is another honda color

Before putting the OP into a panic making him think his Berlina was repainted, why not just tell him to go look at another Berlina and compare the two?

Honda does not have a perfectly black black, there is a bit of a flake or spec in it. It might not be what some would call a metallic flake, but it sure is helll not a perfect black like Caddy has.

The OP may be seeing this spec which is in every Berlina I have ever seen, and there i s no way every black S I have seen has been repainted............

 

 

Yeah I am thinking my car was resprayed......
I dropped the top back off at the body shop and they asked for my fuel door. So hopefully they can match it.

 

Yeah it had to be if you are seeing a blueish pearl in it. I got my hardtop painted Berlina and it's just a perfect black. I hope they can get it to match up for you man.
