The side emblems on my S is off center with the turn signal and with me being sort of OCD it bugs me. Lol. Which 3M mounting tape do you guys suggest to mount the side emblems? There are a variety of 3M tapes and I don't want something that is too thick. Would the non foam type of double side tape be a good idea or a bad idea?

 

Good question. Trying to remember how thick the 3M stuff was on the OEM "S" I added to the rear. You might try emailing 3M. I have had really good luck with them.
You can also eBay new emblems and go from there.
I suppose you could even double up the tape to make the thinner stuff thicker to your liking. Try it first.

 

I believe 3M offers moulding tape in different thicknesses.
