I got an 03 with a Marga hills front bumper and I really don't like it, I'm willing to pay about a grand for a new bumper, I've seen a few options, but every time I look something new pops up... What are some of your favorites and why and what's the going rate?

 

I have been thinking of changing up as well. I have an ap2 with cr lip on mine. The Mugen front bumper has been growing on me. The price does make me think twice living in NYC. My current front bumper has seen better days but I don't daily it anymore.

 

Spoon is my fave, they're in the 3gs with fogs last time I checked?

 

To me, there is nothing better than a stock bumper with the stock lip, ap1 or ap2.

 

I actually hate lips, the top secret one is fantastic, but I can't find one for sale...

This is completely subjective though and also depends what kind of look you want to achieve. I love the R1 because it is simple and clean and just a bit more aggressive than OEM, which is the kind of look I prefer. For a more aggressive build, I love the ASM wide front or Voltex race front.

OEM AP2 with the front lip is my fav, for aftermarket it's definitely the Amuse.

 

I like the Mugen.

 

Definitely my favourite aftermarket bumper, one of the few bumpers I'd run on my car.
