Just wondering if a CF trunk lid is sturdy enough to support a spoiler such as the CR oem spoiler.

I've never purchased CF parts before nor have I ever felt how durable it was in real life. It might be the first time I get one if it works.

 

Yes, it will hold fine. There are tons of people that have carbon trunks with big wings/spoilers on them with no problems.

 

i have an APR spoiler on my cf trunk and its fine. but once you put those holes in it, its there for life!!!! good luck

 

I have a seibon trunk with seibon spolier. No problems at all.

Something to consider is that the origional CR trunk and spolier set up is made to keep together. The CR trunk is actually reenforced to support the spoiler. Adding a CR spoiler to a CF trunk should be fine but might want to get the lighter weight seibon CR spoiler.
