Default color change

so i have a silver s2000 (sebring) and i wrecked it (totaled but, we don't talk about that) and at the time i needed the money for something else so, the car was fixed cheaply, mechanically shes a champ, but appearance wise she is lacking. well now I feel like i'm financially stable and really thinking about fixing her right. i have always wanted a gpw s2000 but they were really hard to find and now i want to respray the whole car. i know it would be easier to paint it the same color but, i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to change the color completely? (door and trunk jambs included)

i really like the pearl white on 350z.

I am in a similar situation. I bought my S as a rebuilt and the paint is horrible. It is Suzuka blue and I'm thinking of getting it repainted completely to Pearl White. I think it will look good with the blue interior.

I think as long as the door jambs and engine bay are also painted it should be okay. I have been shopping around and the best deal I got (for a quality paint job i.e., not Maaco) was $2500 for a complete paint job.

Hmm...I wasn't aware OEM seats come in different shades of blue. Mine are pretty dark and look exactly like:

Maybe the color does change with sunlight....I guess I never paid much attention to that.

Oh also, if you go with the white exterior and a blue interior have you thought about getting a dyed soft top? I've seen a picture somewhere before of a white exterior/blue interior s2k w/ a navy/dark blue soft top. Looked soooo nice.

my 2c: Since you have a sebring you could leave the engine bay sebring and it wouldn't look too weird, but I would still want the bumpers/fenders/doors/hood/trunk/all moulding/trim/etc all removed and the colour changed properly and that's not a going to be cheap

I have Lexus Glacier frost (pearl white) on my AP1. Love it, but be prepared to pay.
